Welcome to the Presbytery of the Palisades!
The Presbytery of the Palisades is a family of 52 congregations, two fellowship groups and one Hispanic Ministry Team. We are around 8,500 members of diverse ethnic groups and languages. Our churches are located in Bergen and Passaic Counties in New Jersey.
Our Presbytery recently adopted a new format of leadership model. This model consists of a leadership team of three Presbyters, each serving in different ministry areas, Connectional, Transformational and Multicultural. Besides the Presbyters Leadership Team other staff members are Communications, Administration and the Stated Clerk.
We are one of the 22 Presbyteries that constitute the Synod of the North East. The Synod of the North East is one of 16 Synods that work under the umbrella of the Presbyterian Church (PC-USA).
These are the languages represented in the Presbytery of the Palisades:
Arabic, Korean, Portuguese, Chinese, Spanish, English and Taiwanese.
