MISSION STATEMENT
THE PRESBYTERY OF THE PALISADES
The Presbytery of the Palisades exists to empower and equip congregations and individuals to share the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The mission of the presbytery comes alive when presbytery staff and volunteers:
- Resource churches for mission and ministry
- Promote dialogue, connection, and collaboration among churches
- Strive to maintain the overall health and wellbeing of our churches
- Develop and encourage Lay Leadership
- Offer visible approachable leadership and presence in our churches
- Communicate effectively
- Provide appropriate governance for congregational and presbytery accountability
- Challenge our churches to grow and mature in discipleship and community
- Connect with synod and General Assembly
- Hold the vision for evangelism and social justice
- Establish community of pastors and elder commissioners
